I first met Juliann in November 2011. She's the MuA for my 2nd portfolio & ad-campaign shoot. First time met, first time working together & i fell in love with her work & her attitude. She worked with MAC before she become a freelance MuA till present. A professional in doing her job & punctuality is very important to her. She had done editorial shoot, work with various pro-photographers, involve in production teams, fashion shows, events & weddings. Here's some of her previous work.

Here's few photos of my work for January & February 2012. ;)

++My sister, Amy Dee(center) wearing Dhiana Berg's boat-neck cotton long dress. Her friend in the red kurung love it & ask me to do a piece for her too. ;) ++

++The theme is glamourous red, but she didnt want anything long, flowy or classic. So here;s a red dress with black lines for my cousin, Ms. Rien Johari for her annual dinner at Mandarin Oriental. I use a black satin bias tape for the black lines.++

++A pink dress with turquoise lace for my beautiful daughter, Nia Berg. She wore this dress at my brother-in-law wedding day & she's also the flower girl. At this event, i also made a dress for myself & a dress for my sister-in-law, but i didnt have full photos of us. Will upload it once i found it. ;P++

++This is a caftan with scarfs effect collar I made for Beatzellz.com, one of the many for their whole new collection for 2012.++

++This is for Dhiana Berg's own new collections. 10 piece & this is for a sneak peek only. Its a kimono sleeves top. I wore it & i got very positive reviews about it. ;)++

For the Dhiana Berg's new collections, all the pieces have undergo a photo shoot session for ad-campaign & as my 3rd portfolio. The shoot done on 18th February 2012. I will posts all about it once the photos is ready. Need to warn u that those photos might be a lil bit extreme for some, so dont tell me i didnt told u so! Cant wait! Hehehe.

Dhiana Berg: 2nd portfolio & ad-campaign.

It was around November 2011 when i plan to shoot another portfolio & ad-campaign. I want to play with flows & beauty & something a bit heavier than the 1st shoot. So i chose romanticism & history as theme. Im so inspired by the Greek goddesses. I've read about them & i find them very interesting. Its not only about beauty. They represent all a woman can be.. strong, soft-hearted, a leader, a mother, a child, devoted, a hunter, a queen, a dictator, seducer & much more. So I create 4 long, flowy dresses. The original idea was 8 pieces, but because of the timeline (thats 3 weeks before the shoots!), I cut it down to half.

For this shoot, I worked together with Wanzero Wan & Siddiq Firdaus. Wanzero Wan is a master in taking photos of sceneries & very creative in playing with colors to boost the mood. Meanwhile, Siddiq Firdaus takes many beautiful beauty shots & portraitures. Have a look at his facebook page, Cdique Photography. The MuA is Juliann Nazar. I fell in love with her work immediately! She is so talented & is a very humble person. After discussing & all, we decided to shoot at Gold Coast, Sepang & use 4 models so we can have a group-shot. The models are Kida Bustaman for red dress, Fara for the brown & chrome dress, Shida For the gold dress & Fifa for the blue dress.

But on the shooting day, 1st December 2011, Kida was ill. So we carry on with 3 models & 3 dresses. We started quite late & we are so in a rush. Still, the outcome of the photo-shoot is breathtaking. I will post the photos on the next blog. ;)

++Made this dress on my own. Its a Terengganu batik-silk. i wear it at my sister,Dhila Dee's bday celebrations at Putra Palace Hotel & KL Tower. 6th November 2010++

++A light peach lace long dress. I wear this to our friend wedding at Dewan Perdana Felda. March 2011++

++At Dewan Risda,Ampang for friend wedding. I made a top using the Terengganu batik-silk fabric & pair it with jeans. March 2011.++
